Getting Short

I'm trying to stay positive but as we get closer to the end it's getting harder and harder.  We're totally out of laundry detergent, dish soap, and toilet paper.  We're now completely dependent on the local economy for these staples.  Of course, there's NO dish soap to be found anywhere.  The summer heat has made it very difficult to find good fruits and vegetables.  Haven't had any lettuce or cilantro in weeks.  Massive salt shortage.
It doesn't help that I torture myself by looking at food blogs and imagine what it would be like to walk into a grocery store and purchase all of the ingredients I need at once.  I can't wait to strap both of my kids into a grocery cart and buy them whatever food they want, never again having to explain that they can't have apples because I couldn't find them in any of the mercados.  :*(
